I love your program.

The font color option seems to be a little buggy, though.  When I change the font color, the color of the line numbers does not seem to change until I close and re-open the program.  What I would prefer would be to not change the color of the line numbers (keep them black on the gray background) or at least have the option to independently control the color of the line numbers and their respective background.

Another thought I had concerns the line numbers and the word wrap option.  In my opinion, the line numbers should only change when there is a true "carriage return" on the line.   Currently, the line numbers are dependent on the width of the application window and whether or not word wrap is enabled.

A button on the toolbar to access the options dialog would be handy.

I haven't read any of the other posts, so I apologize if any of my comments are a repetition of previous suggestions.  I just bought a new computer with Windows XP.  I was originally using Win 95, and I don't remember seeing the font color bug there.

I think there might be another problem with the font/background colour, I experienced it while playing around with the editor at school (win 2000)

Cant seem to duplicate it on my home computer though.

Basically I changed my background colour, then changed my font colour, then somehow I couldnt change it back without re-starting the editor.

I like win32pad very much. But when i just almost changes notepad with it , I find a mistack. Because I uses windows98 Simplify Chinese Version, the words are all double-byte character. So i find that the column number is not the correct value, it should double the value. Can you see it?

now that you mention it, having an option in the Editor tab in Options for the line number gutter size would be nice too, right now 99% of the files that I load up are under 999 lines, but there's room in the gutter for about 10000 or more.  Having this adjustable would be nice.

ok, I have found and fixed some things:
- Line Numbers is black now regardless of the selected text color.
- I also found and fixed that ugly text color problem that I guess you ran into, where the text color couldn't be changed back.
- I also found and fixed the bug with disabling File Change notifications.

I'll hold the release pending some more stuff/fixes.
