Hi!

Started to use your nice program as replace for Notepad.

The first idea -- it would be much more comfortable to use drag&drop to open files. I mean drag&drop file from Explorer onto the Win32Pad window should act as File->Open...

Notepad has this feature.

Best regards!

Drag'n'Drop should work for opening files in Win32Pad.

Just to confirm, D&D causes a new instance of Win32pad to load, opening the "dropped" file.

There is a setting for that in the options dialog called "Dropped Files in New Window". That way you can set if it should open a new window or re-use the existing window.

Hi nice work again.
A little thing to improve would be the contrast of selected text when using black background and white text. Why not to made an color option for this availble?

greets

Oh!

Really, D&D works. Something strange happened at the first attempt. But now it's all OK.

Very nice program!

Best Regards.

btw, If I change checkbox "Full path in Title" nothing visibly changes. I mean -- is it about the window caption? There is always full path in it.

Best Regards.

Right you are.
Use the program every day, & it does what I need, so I rarely venture into the menus.
Just goes to show you .

You are right.
That seems to have broken between versions 1.5.9.1 (where it worked) & 1.5.10.1 (where it does not work).

I found another text source that does not paste into Win32pad. In Windows Explorer if I copy the name of a file to the clipboard and then paste the file name into Win32pad all I get is a square and a B.

Some dialogues of Win32Pad are still using the deprecated "MS Sans Serif" Font.
Please consider changing this to "MS Shell Dlg".
On modern 2K & XP systems this automatically resolves to "Tahoma", on old Win9X based systems to "MS Sans Serif". BTW MS Sans Serif is not compatible with XP's "ClearType" feature, thus giving a pixeled view.

Please change these:
- Options
- About

Thank you
