Feature modification / request

1) The first one would be relatively simple (I'd think):
a hot-key (and / or) toolbar button to toggle "line numbers" on/off

2) how about "statistics" toolbar button or menu item?
Count total lines, characters, words, total file size, last save date /
creation date?
I think it would be more useful than the plain "file / properties" menu
option

Would they make Win32Pad too big or slow? Hard to code?

I would imagine the "Multiple Document Interface via Tabs" kind of thing
would make Win32Pad way too large!

I doubt it would be worth the effort. But maybe #1 & #2 would be viable.

Any thoughts?
