It would be really nice if the start menu icons was copied into the %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Start Menu\Programs\Win32Pad-folder.

That way the program is easy accessible for all users on the system, and not restricted to the user who installed it.

I'll look into this.

Can you add a "Replace NotePad" option (Associate with Text Files in Windows Explorer) which enables us to open txt files with Win32Pad when double clicking a file in windows explorer?

If you are using the setup file, it should associate win32pad with text files by default (unless you uncheck that box).

Ok, I might actually create a little poll to see what users think about the next release... The idea here is I could cut a release with the stuff that I know is fixed (backporting code from my latest development build) or finish up development and cut a big release.

What I do a lot in Win32Pad is writing text, but I don't use different txt files a lot, I just use one document to write my notes etc.
But when I want to separate these notes I always use:
-----------------------------------------------------
Can you perhaps put a button in the toolbar that automaticly will create such a separator?
Cause I have to copy and paste it now everytime, it's very annoying.  ''

Bug report:
 Enter font changing dialog once.
Then Win32Pad would refuse to change its color, even if you don't change it for the first time.

As for suggestions - it'd be good to support macros and to remember last searched string(s?) just for a current session.

Thanks.

Another idea, why not add a feature which makes it possible to "bookmark" certain places in a textfile, so that when you click on it, it will go to that spot right away. Because sometimes I will have to search for a while in my files, very annoying.  ''

Adding more "Files of type" to the File|Open and File|Save menu would be nice, right now you have:
Text Files (*.txt)

But how about:
HTML Files (*.htm, *.html)
Bat Files (*.bat, *.cmd)
etc. etc.

Thanks.
