I have found an issue with the Unindent feature (SHIFT+TAB)

It appears to trim the last character from the selection buffer with each unindent call.

Bug affects indent as well as unindent.

Steps to reproduce:

Highlight a block of text

Press TAB or SHIFT+TAB

Watch the block shift correctly

Note the last character on the last selected line after each operation

Same error with Chinese Simplified (GB2312 )Characters.

for example: 你好。Hello.

I would like to report a bug.

Basic information
win32pad: version 1.5.10.2
OS: Windows XP Traditional Chinese SP1
Bug phenomenon: The following error message in the dialog box was displayed when I tried to use Ctrl-C to copy Traditional Chinese characters inside win32pad.

Dialog box
Title: Text Conversion
Message: The data area passed to a system call is too small.

I have no problem in copying English characters.

Please help. Thanks.

Hello Genadi,

I have been waiting for a reply/new version for a long time now.
Is this program dead, or what?

I think there are a number of serious issues in this version (See this thread...)
Are you going to fix them at all?

Greetings
Robert

Yes I am preparing 1.5.10.3 release, which should go out within the new cpl of days. I've just been rather busy lately with some personal stuff.

Thank you

Hi Gennady

I too find that the un-indent feature is "trimming" the last characters of the line being un-indented. Any news on an update to this. For me that's the only flaw in an otherwise great program, yes a few other enhancements would be nice but as a basic text editor it's superb, what more could anybody need.

Thank you for a superb editor
