SUGGESTION: It would be a huge help to us if during product installation or on the options panel, you would allow us to have the program automatically associate itself as the default program for a list of specific file types.

The ones that spring to mind first are

       TXT
       INI
       LOG

and I'm sure you can think of a few others.

Seconded. But to take it further, maybe a button under options to also associate win32pad with all unregstered file endings. This is most useful IME.

Theres already a separate freeware util that can do this, but I dont recall the name of it. I got it done via installing an iffy jpg stripper that somehow managed to associate itself with every unregistered file type, and I just changed the registry entry to point to win32pad.
