Hello,

Here is what I did on my Windows NT WorkStation. It is the same for other Windows.
This trick does not need editing the Registry.

1/ make a search on your PC for "notepad.exe"
2/ make a Rename of Notepad.exe ( "old_notepad.exe" is an example)
Note : don't delete Notepad.exe if you want to reverse the process ...
3/ make a 'Copy/Paste' of 'Win32Pad.exe' in the paths found in step 1, and then
Rename it "NotePad.exe" !!

So, the files associated with 'NotePad.exe' will be opened with Win32Pad.exe

This trick functions for me; hope it will be usefull for you.

Regards

Michel,
