Title: Editor Changes lost when save fails. Post by: on November 26, 2001, 11:43:27 am If I open a Read-Only file, make changes, and try to close the window, I get prompted to save. When the save fails, the program continues exiting losing all of my changes. If a save fails while exiting, you should cancel the program exit so that the user can correct the problem before exiting. Notepad currently cancels the exit if the save fails.
