Win32Get is under active development. I have created the prototype that can do HTTP/FTP. Then I started doing major rewrite to add more UI components and then add a bit of C++ which will really simplify adding back protocol support for HTTP, FTP, and any other protocols that I decide to add at a later time.
Unfortunately this means that it will take some time before I release any alphas/betas to the public. Since I am not making any money writing this software and people like to get something that works, then I am not going to rush things and will take my time to produce something that people can use. I know that I have been missing a good download manager for a really long time. I personally think that this software should be as readily available as wget is on Unix.
